"The show was amazing... we could feel and see the love from across the street." — Brittany Bayne
Loosely defined to encompass a variety of artistic media and means of expression, Lotus Land Arts Group brings together artists and musicians from diverse backgrounds, which over time and through the commonality of experience and aspiration has grown to become Lotus Land Arts Group. The one thousand-leafed lotus represents a blank canvas, or unlimited possibility, which is the common thread inspiring the individual and collaborative work of Lotus Land artists and musicians.
Lotus Land art is hanging at Cuppa Joe, (or Cuppa Joy as owner Joy has lovingly renamed it on the awning) on West 4th and Alma, 295-2083 Alma (on the West 4th Side!), a fantastic two-storey coffee shop that is a second home to many locals. You can also find our art at The Orange Corner on West Broadway in Kitsilano. This great little shop serves crepes and bubble tea and you can find their new location at 2967 West Broadway in Vancouver, BC. And a few key pieces are hanging visible from the street at Broadway at Yew Chiropractic at 2221 West Broadway. Stay tuned, we've got more shows and are putting up more art around town in the near future!
